AIRBEST is dedicated to transforming indoor air quality monitoring with our smart sensor designed to detect and quantify specific VOCs, promoting healthier environments and aligning with LEED standards.

Empowering healthy environments everywhere.
SMART SENSING TECHNOLOGY
Our technology mimics a dog’s sniffing process to analyze air quality in real time, using patented gas analysis machine learning algorithms.

UNPRECEDENTED DATA
Using chemiresistive elements, the sensors analyze the air, distinguishing specific VOCs with high accuracy. When air passes through the system, the sensors measure gas signatures to accurately identify pollutants like formaldehyde and BTEX (benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylenes) compounds.
SEAMLESS INTEGRATION
The system is being designed for easy intallation, self-calibration, and integration directly with building HVAC systems to optimize ventilation and maintain a healthy indoor environment.

BUILT BY
EXPERTS ACROSS ELECTRONICS, CHEMISTRY, AND AI
AIRBEST originates from a multidisciplinary collaboration between researchers at Harvard, MIT, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The team is part of the National Science Foundation's Convergence Accelerator program, and is supported by leading institutes and agencies such as Harvard Innovation Labs, Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering, Salata Insitute for Climate and Sustainability, and the Harvard Center for Green Buildings and Cities.
We combine cutting-edge technology with a mission for healthier indoor spaces. Our partnerships ensure that we remain at the forefront of air quality monitoring, providing real-time insights to improve building health and efficiency.
